A memoir in progress about a lifetime of seeking, belonging, bodies, identity, and learning to witness yourself differently.
I’m writing it slowly and somewhat out of order – first and foremost as medicine for my own spirit - following the threads and seeing where they lead.

I’m one of three facilitators of a 12-week group experience exploring self-observation through a journey of (optional) micro-dosing – and what we can learn from our own evidence. My particular curiosity lives in the space between What did I actually notice? and What am I making it mean?
Writing
I write to understand things – myself, other people, the strange business of being human, and whatever has caught my attention lately. This is where I share pieces from that ongoing exploration: stories, observations, questions, and things I’m still figuring out. I’m gathering some of that writing here now. More soon.
I have a B.Sc. in Anthropology, which in retrospect may have been an early clue.
I’ve spent much of my life following that curiosity – first somewhat literally, and then through a career that moved through:

For more than 25 years, I’ve been creating spaces where people like me can learn, question, experiment and make sense of what they find.
I’m also a writer and published contributor (and no, not that Lisa Yee – although the name confusion has followed me around for years), a lifelong collector of questions, and someone who has spent a considerable amount of time being my own most complicated research subject.
