I’m fascinated by people – why we do what we do, the stories we tell ourselves about it, and what can change when we see something differently.
In case you missed the giant letters, I’m Lísa.
I’ve spent most of my life asking questions, noticing patterns, and wondering whether things we think of as separate might actually be connected – and what we might see differently if we put them together.
I bring that same curiosity to people, helping them – and myself – find another way of seeing things. Sometimes that brings clarity. Sometimes a completely different question. Sometimes a flash of Oh. I never thought about it that way…
Along the way, I write about what I'm exploring, share what I'm learning, and occasionally invite people into things I'm creating.

The Wild Pursuit of Wisdom
A memoir in progress about a lifetime of seeking, belonging, bodies, identity, and learning to witness yourself differently.
I’m writing it slowly and somewhat out of order – first and foremost as medicine for my own spirit - following the threads and seeing where they lead.

I’m one of three facilitators of a 12-week group experience exploring self-observation through a journey of (optional) micro-dosing – and what we can learn from our own evidence. My particular curiosity lives in the space between What did I actually notice? and What am I making it mean?
Writing
I write to understand things – myself, other people, the strange business of being human, and whatever has caught my attention lately. This is where I share pieces from that ongoing exploration: stories, observations, questions, and things I’m still figuring out. I’m gathering some of that writing here now. More soon.
I have a B.Sc. in Anthropology, which in retrospect may have been an early clue.
I’ve spent much of my life following that curiosity – first somewhat literally, and then through a career that moved through human resources, education, entrepreneurship, writing, facilitation, and a rather eclectic and fascinating collection of trainings and experiments.
For more than 25 years, in one form or another, I’ve been creating spaces for people to learn, question, experiment and discover things for themselves.
I’m also a writer and published contributor (and no, not that Lisa Yee – although the name confusion has followed me around for years), a lifelong collector of questions, and someone who has spent a considerable amount of time being my own most complicated research subject.
